Friends of Tenth Street Park Friends of Tenth Street Park is a volunteer non-profit 501(c)(3) tax exempt organization dedicated to Tenth Street Community Park in Downtown, Washington D.C.

10th Street Community Park is overseen by the Friends of 10th Street Park. The Friends group consists of neighboring residents and is a non-profit with 501(c)(3) status. The Friends group fundraises to make improvements to their park, advocate on behalf of the community for the park, help to maintain the site through clean-up and beautification efforts and are engaged in planning or site improveme

nt processes. The Department of Parks and Recreation relies on the Friends to be the eyes and ears at our sites and to report any hazardous conditions, damaged equipment or other needed repairs.
