A lot can be built in 10 years.

Performance Contracting Inc played an important role in the construction of the Sphere in Las Vegas, one of the most recognizable entertainment venues built in the past decade. The 366-foot-tall venue seats 18,600 people and features a massive interior LED screen along with more than 580,000 square feet of exterior LED displays.

PCI’s scope was extensive, including 3.3 million square feet of drywall, 240,000 square feet of joisted and suspended ceilings, 110,000 square feet of decorative metal panels, and 2.5 million square feet of rigid insulation, along with acoustic treatments, firestopping, prefabrication, specialty walls and ceilings, and more.

Happening now in Indian Wells, California! 🌴

The 2026 SWACCA Fall Membership Meeting is underway during the AWCI Industry Leaders Conference and there’s a lot to catch up on. SWACCA has welcomed three new Regional Affiliates since the spring and represents over 400 contractor members nationwide. Today’s conversation includes everything from reviewing membership growth and SWACCA’s strategic planning to key updates from government and labor relations, communications and marketing, and innovation.

A look back at where it all began. On September 26, 2018, SWACCA held its first formal membership meeting, bringing members together to help shape the future of the association. As we reflect on the past decade, we’re grateful to every member who has helped make SWACCA what it is today.

A lot can be built in 10 years.

California Drywall contributed to the transformation of Uptown Station in Oakland, California. The 360,000-square-foot project involved a historic seven-story building originally constructed in 1928, with many of its original architectural details preserved throughout the renovation.
California Drywall’s work included lath and plaster/EIFS, miscellaneous metals, cold-formed steel engineering, and prefabrication.

We were grateful to have UBC General Vice President Gary Perinar join us in Jackson Hole and deliver a keynote at SWACCA’s inaugural Labor Relations Summit. The UBC’s involvement throughout the event added a lot to the conversations and helped make the Summit a success!
