& Lay Leaders

Humanist Lay Leaders help turn humanism into community by leading discussion groups, local meetings, service projects, interfaith participation, and opportunities for people to connect around shared values.

Their work matters because movements grow through relationships, care, organizing, and everyday participation.

Their work can happen in hospitals, nursing homes, prisons, military units, universities, police departments, and humanist communities.

Humanist chaplaincy is grounded in compassion and dignity, without requiring supernatural belief.
