Our purpose and name are rooted in the belief that starting small often leads to greatness. From there, it reaches the world…

Piney Run Sporting Club of Washington, DC is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to fostering and promoting youth sports as a way for children in the District of Columbia (DC) to develop their curiosity, enthusiasm, and ambition. A run is a very tiny tributary stream that flows into a larger body of water. Piney Run flows through Southeast DC to Northeast DC, then drains into the Anacostia River.

demolition of the courts at Fort Lincoln has begun! thanks to Dale from for the walkthrough this morning. full circle moment seeing on site; 4 yrs ago, they agreed to come and inspect the courts for the Fort Lincoln community. their insight helped us understand how significant the court rehabilitation process would be.

this announcement has been a LONG time coming, but…Fort Lincoln 🎾 courts will be better soon!

special thanks to ANC 5C and the Fort Lincoln Civic Association (FLCA) for staying on top of this project. these 🎾 courts have been used well beyond their useful life span and really needed resurfacing.

can’t wait to see it!
