🌾 Did you know? Ndop, in Cameroon’s Ngoketunjia Division, is often called the country’s “rice basket.” The Ndop plain’s flooded plains and rich alluvial soil make it one of the most productive rice-growing regions in Cameroon, feeding markets far beyond the Northwest Region.

For decades, Bamunka and neighboring communities have cultivated rice here, using traditional know-how passed down through generations alongside more recent irrigation efforts to boost yield. Today, “Ndop rice” is recognized nationwide as a mark of quality — proof that local agriculture can feed a nation.

🇨🇲 Support local. Eat Ndop rice.

🎉👑 Congratulations to Ni Simon Mekika Ntosegeh! 👑🎉

The Bamunka (Meukoh) Diaspora proudly honors one of our own with the Special Recognition of Excellence — a tribute to outstanding leadership in advancing the development, unity, and cultural heritage of Bamunka.

As one of the highest financial donors to Meukoh Development, Ni Simon has earned the trust and confidence of both the Ngumba and His Royal Highness, the Fon of Bamunka. In recognition of this exceptional service, he has been bestowed with the Double Traditional Titles:

🪶 Ntoh-Kulbouh
🪶 Tiangioh Lor Nteng Loh
(Red Feather / Porcupine Quill)

These titles are among the highest cultural honors our community can confer — a symbol of distinguished leadership, generosity, and unwavering commitment to Bamunka’s growth and heritage.

Presented under the leadership of President Lionel Menkeica, with the blessing of HRH Fon Sama John Meborh-Feunyin.

Congratulations, Ni Simon — your dedication does not go unnoticed. May this honor inspire the next generation of Meukoh sons and daughters to give back with the same heart. 🌳🇨🇲

The 2026 Bamunkah convention is underway with pre-event enjoyment. !

Pride that stays home isn’t pride — it’s nostalgia. 🌍

You can’t claim the culture and skip the call to build it. Bamunka isn’t asking for applause from afar — it’s asking for hands.

July 10–12, Maryland. Show up the way the village always showed up for you.

06/30/2026

We forgot what our hands could build when they’re not building alone.

Back home, water was never one person’s problem — it was the village’s. We carried buckets together, dug wells together, prayed for rain together. Somewhere along the way, distance made us forget that “together” doesn’t have an expiration date.

This July, we’re not just gathering for a gala or a BBQ. We’re remembering that the same spirit that moved our grandparents to share a well is still in us — it just needed a reason to show up again.

Bamunka raised us to believe no one drinks alone while the village thirsts.

Come build with us. 🌍💧
