Congrats, Tremmel, for being a speaker at ALDACon 2026!

One of our ALDAcon 2026 speakers, Tremmel Watson, as featured in this publication last Fall is additionally ALDA's Regional Director 4. I'm not laughing at you, I'm laughing with you! 🤣

We've all done it. Done something silly, said something silly, and just laughed at ourselves. Comment in the chat the last time you laughed at yourself.

Please join me in congratulating Rip Wilson, winner of the Outstanding Philanthropist Award at our Voices in Text ceremony this past Saturday! 🎉

Rip has accomplished so much for the deaf and hard of hearing community in his life so far, we can't possibly encapsulate it in a single social media post. He has also been a staunch supporter of the Global Alliance since its beginnings seven years ago. Thanks to Rip, we've been able to attend conferences all around the country and continue to spread our mission of universal access to the spoken word via all forms of captioning.

Thank you, Rip, for your outstanding support!

Please join me in congratulating Lydia Oxenreider, winner of the Global Alliance Volunteer of the Year Award at our Voices in Text ceremony this past Saturday! 🎉

This was the only category specifically for Global Alliance members. While everyone at the Global Alliance is a volunteer, Lydia has consistently gone above and beyond to juggle her many duties, be an excellent leader as Chair of the Education Committee and Chair-Elect (and Chair as of yesterday!) of our org, and herding all us proverbial cats to make sure we stay on task and show up where we're supposed to.

Thank you, Lydia, for all you've done and continue to do for the Global Alliance!
