US based Orthomolecular physician and Neuroscientist, Dr Charles Hopson, on March 24 in Yaoundé launched the African Brain Channel ABC, a Pan African television channel with national and international coverage.

The channel which was launched in partnership with some State Institutions and Ministries, had in attendance representatives of the Minister of State, Minister of Higher Education, Prof Jacques Fame Ndongo, the Minister of Women Empowerment And the Family, Prof Marie Therese Abena Ondoa and the Minister of Arts and Culture, Bidoung Mkpatt.

Imaginez un pays où les habitants sont des êtres humains fiers et où fait rage une competition qui consiste à brandir en premier ce que la mode offre de plus tandancieux. Par contre, dans ce pays imaginaire qui possède tout sous ses pieds et au dessus de sa tete, les habitants choisissent tout bonnement d’ignorer leur sublime et si riche espace pour se tourner vers l’extérieur, l’exotique, d’où la mode parait toujours plus tandancieuse. Nous avons nommé ce pays la Brocantie.

Nous sommes Dimanche soir en Brocantie; c’est le jour et l’heure auxquels Mpabe et Magneuh font les comptes de la semaine. Mpabe est basé en Brocantie tandis que Magneuh reside dans un pays lointain, l’un de ces pays là où il fait encore jour quand les Brocantiens sont plongés

Sadio Mane, a Senegalese soccer star, earns approximately $10.2 million annually. He gave the world a rude awakening after some fans were flabbergasted when they saw him carrying a cracked iPhone 11. His response was awesome:
"Why would I want ten Ferraris, 20 diamond watches, and two jet planes? I starved, I worked in the fields, played barefoot, and I didn't go to school. Now I can help people. I prefer to build schools and give poor people food or clothing. I have built schools and a stadium, provide clothes, shoes, and food for people in extreme poverty. In addition, I give 70 euros per month to all people from a very poor Senegalese region in order to contribute to their family economy. I do not need to display luxury cars, luxury homes, trips, and even planes. I prefer that my people receive some of what life has given me."
