Listo & Te Guio - Latino Student Fund

The Latino Student Fund (LSF) was founded in 1994 to address disparities in access to education for Supporting Students on Their Pathway To College.

LISTO is a free after-school intensive college prep program designed to support 11th – 12th-grade students on their pathway to college and a potential career. LISTO offers academic support, college visits, team-building activities, networking with current college students and professionals from various careers, and mentoring for college and financial aid application completion. LISTO is held virtu

ally Monday through Thursday with a Resource Hub on Friday afternoons. Empowering Recently Arrived Latino Youth. Te Guio provides youth in 9th-10th grade with a mentor to guide them on the path to graduate high school, enroll in higher education, and transition to a healthy adulthood. This fall, the mentoring program will be held virtually and focus on academic and personal goals during the school year through a variety of weekly workshops and emphasize on career goals in the summer with the opportunity to work at the LSF in the DC Summer Youth Employment Program. Once students complete the Te Guio program, they are transitioned into the Listo program.
