Happy Juneteenth! Please note that the Juneteenth celebration may be moved to the nearby Lyndon B. Johnson Memorial Grove, just downriver on Columbia Island (access is from GWMP Southbound).

Have you taken your children (or grandchildren) to Theodore Roosevelt Island lately? How would they like a byline? We welcome their submissions - anything from a drawing, to a poem, or a few paragraphs - about TRI for our new Youth Arena - ordinarily available exclusively to TRA members, but anyone published will get a copy! Your child's published work will be the perfect end-of-summer happy news to share with family and friends!

The new publication, a sister to our members-only Arena digital newsletter, will be FOR youth, BY youth and we can't wait to see what your child has to say about their trip to TRI, or anything that they saw on the Island! Submissions should be directed to [email protected]
