Our mission is dedicated to implementing social change in housing, community involvement, public policy, urban agriculture, gun violence prevention, and financial literacy focusing on fiscal and monetary policy. We’re gearing up for our 4th Annual Feminine Care
Drive w/ .grow

In the past years, we’ve distributed over 700 feminine care packages to unhoused women across the district. Join us there year in gathering products to distribute. These packages include period products, toiletries, under garments, and more.

Collection began in March and will conclude on Mothers Day. Our drop off location is Synergy and Serenity Alternative Wellness Center located at 1803 Connecticut Ave NW. Details for drop off days and times can be found on the flyer.

As we close out the 60th anniversary weekend of the March on Washington, we are reminded that just 3 years ago CCDC became embedded into the lineage of the fight for justice when we had our members grace the March On Washington as speakers for the 57th anniversary. Happy Fathers Day! Join us today in collaboration with the Community Relations & Events team to celebrate a special Father's Day at The Wharf (1-6PM) presented to you by Pepsi, the Washington Commanders and the Commission on Fathers, Men and Boys. Enjoy a , fun afternoon which includes; the Commanders' Play60 obstacle course for kids to practice their agility and skills and meet Commanders alumni + great food, ice cold drinks from Pepsi and an ice cream dessert + from & .

We’re still in need of donations so drop off any of the listed products, especially deodorant, socks, wash cloths, panties, and more pads. Drop off these and any other new supplies before May 28th to during regular business hours located at

Come help us pack at Selina (411 New York Ave NE, Washington, DC 20002) on May 28th from 1PM - 5PM. We will also be collecting donations and packing the care packages. We'll also be accepting donations on Sunday during the event!

The purpose of this project is not only to provide menstrual aid but also to uplift the voices of women in Jackson while experiencing environmental racism and attacks on women's rights.
