This Action will assist in the ongoing recovery of habitat and support for wildlife after the emergency crisis took a heavy toll on the Australian landscape and the unique wildlife that rely on diverse bush habitats for food and shelter. Tens of millions of acres of land had been destroyed and estimates now imply that almost 3 billion local animals had been misplaced as an end result. additionally, this mission will assist Saviour Alliance in developing systems and capacity to respond to destiny massive scale activities.
Saviour Alliance rescues Australian animals year-round. Each year we respond to about 95,000 requests for rescue and assistance counseling for injured, orphaned, and homeless animals, and sadly the numbers continue to grow. We need support to help more animals improve our rescue programs, expand our training programs, enhance wildlife education, support long-term wildlife and conservation and build new care centers to provide the best possible care for all species.
Redeemed animals need animal treatment, special diets, and life-saving medicines. Some small animals will spend months caring for them, which is especially true of orphaned animals such as the koala and the wombat joey. Increasing the Savior Alliance's capacity by increasing our ability to rescue emergencies and improving access to additional rescue services and rehabilitation facilities are all important aspects of our wildlife services that will enable us to provide emergency assistance to many distressed animals.
As Australia's largest wildlife rescue organization Saviour Alliance plays a major role in wildlife rescue, rehabilitation, and preservation. In addition to helping individual animals on a daily basis, as a result of recent disasters, Saviour Alliance has been developing new partnerships with key organizations to increase our involvement in rehabilitating wildlife habitat and wildlife conservation in order to protect and conserve long-term wildlife population
