In September 2020 3D Program for Girls and Women & International Center for Research on Women - Asia teamed up w/local partners , & in and Districts in , to initiate a study that asks:

Would rural women in Pune find reusable an acceptable product?

By testing the acceptability of these sanitary pads, we hope to increase the options for MHM products available to women. Findings will be fed into government programs for MHM & will be shared with local NGOs working in related areas.

The reusable sanitary pads were distributed to 150 women aged 18-35 in and blocks in rural Pune District & urban informal settlements in District, Maharashtra, India.

Check back for more details over the coming weeks as we begin the final phase of the , leading up to May when we will share findings and what we’ve learned!
