We had a wonderful annual meeting yesterday jam packed with excitement! We were so pleased to welcome two new members, Zoe and Lisa-Helene as DC daughters, we enjoyed a fascinating program on the music of the War of 1812 given by Jari Villanueva and President Sandy Harriman presented Mr. Villanueva with the Spirit of 1812 award! He also treated us to a moving rendition of TAPS on the antique bugle he brought which was incredibly special. We also held a memorial service to honor those daughters who have passed this last year and remember their service.
