Great Nelson Mandela of Africa was a great political figure who fought for the common good of man.
Everyone loves Him because of what he represent.
Nelson Mandela gave a message of peace and unity of mankind. He foresees a new regime which was based on the equality of men and women. He hopes that in the new regime there will be no exploitation of man by man. There will be no room for racialism and segregation in the new order.

Today, another Nelson Mandela has evolved with a clear vision and his name is Amb Engr Joseph Akpan.

We, African immigrants in the United States and Friends of Africa, support candidates for federal, state and local offices that share our ideals and values.

OUR IDEALS
To educate voters about NCAD, candidates, and their congressional races and important issues affecting Africans in the United States of America — at the federal, state, and local jurisdiction levels.

To Encourage Africans immigrants in the United States to vote for NCAD candidates en bloc for African descents' common interests.

To create simple, accessible, online portal for our members to make NCAD-US campaign contributions.

AGENDA
The Unity of Africans Diaspora

We work for the unity of Africans in the diaspora, therefore, membership and patnership are expressively open to individuals, organizations, communities, and corporations with a view to achieving more. Consequently, we build power and influence by active voter participation and voting as a group in elections. It is our civic duty.

We Vote, We Gain; when we are united, we can do more. Our common interests are: immigration reform policy reform and strengthening U.S.- Africa relationship for enhanced development and growth of Africa.
advocacy with a view to influencing congressional decisions and votes. educate voters about NCAD-US candidates and their Congressional races.

To achieve this locally and nationwide, we have created a simple, accessible, online portal for our members and interest groups to make NCAD-US campaign contributions or donations. We agree without doubt that 'NOW' is a good time to act. For our voices to be heard loud and clear, we must demonstrate unity of purpose. Unity of Africans in the Diaspora is paramount, otherwise it will not make progress.
NOW is a good time for African Immigrants to vote en bloc and vote as a group. We should vote consistently in high numbers in every election. Our numbers are our strength. Let our collective vote be our voice. To build the power and influence needed to effect the changes we want, our priority should include peace and the commitment to vote for change.
