There is so much we can learn if we only "listen" to children. They can help us see more realistic narratives and give us glimpses into their inner lives, experiences, and ideas.

We were thrilled to screen our film "Dreams en Route" - highlighting the plight and experience of young children and their families along with our partners, La Parlante , Moving Minds Alliance and International Rescue Committee.

ChildArise is excited to screen a short film that uplifts the voices of young Venezuelan migrant children and families.

The film "Los Sueños en Ruta" (Dreams en Route) was co-produced with Fundación La Otra Juventud (https://lnkd.in/e3NbzfqM) and in collaboration with two Venezuelan community groups - La Fraternidad Venezolana (https://lnkd.in/es8mhNPz) and Asociación PALCO https://asociacionpalco.org/. It was supported by the Moving Minds Alliance, the International Rescue Committee and funded by The LEGO Foundation

The film screening will be part of a 1-hour event and conversation called

Join us for a short film screening and conversation with partners in Colombia and Venezuela on how play, imagination, and child‑led methods help young children express their experiences of crisis and displacement, and how those insights are shaping real programmes.

If we want systems that work, we have to start by listening to the people they’re meant to serve, including the youngest among us.

We believe young children are essential to social change if only adults would listen. We seek to empower them, provide them with critical life skills and help them become change agents.
