Third Actors (and a friend) rallied in support of the Roadless Rule that is currently under threat by Republicans. There are 400,000 acres of Roadless areas in Virginia - the highest number east of the Mississippi. This designation is overwhelmingly popular with hunters, fisherfolk, hikers and campers - opening up pristine areas to roads, logging and mining will have devastating effects, including to municipal water supplies. After the rally we headed to the top of Reddish K**b and hiked back down - who knew a 6 mile downhill hike could be so challenging?
