Today, officially announced additional casting for the highly anticipated sequel to , including two original cast members returning to their iconic roles.

A cultural cornerstone, A Different World didn’t just entertain, it educated, inspired, and shifted the narrative. From spotlighting the richness of HBCU culture to highlighting topics such as identity, love, activism, and Black excellence, the series helped shape a generation and further redefined what representation looked like on the filmscreen.

This next chapter is a continuation of legacy and bridges the gap between generations. A reminder of the stories that built us, and the ones still waiting to be told.
