Founded in 1917, the Kiwanis Club of Washington, DC, is a service organization that offers members the opportunity to perform hands-on community service projects that directly impact the youth of our community. View the events calendar on our website: www.kiwanisdc.org

Our members range in age from 22-89 and our projects often have something for everyone.

Kiwanis is teaming up with Sarah's Circle again for a Bingo Night on August 18. Volunteers serve dinner to residents, then join them for fellowship and games. Family-friendly — anyone 8 and up can pitch in. We're aiming to reach 30-50 seniors working to age in place with dignity as housing costs rise. Sign up: https://dash.pointapp.org/events/748089

Happy International Day of Friendship! 🤝 What better way to celebrate than by showing up for our neighbors?

Community of Hope has supported DC families experiencing homelessness for over 40 years. Kiwanis has partnered with them before at their SW Family Night, and we're back again for the Back-to-School Bash on August 6. Shifts are flexible — reach out to project lead Stacey Simmons or sign up here:

Kiwanis is joining Community of Hope's Back-to-School Bash on August 6 at Bellevue Neighborhood Library — school supplies, haircuts, face painting, and food for local families.
