OSA employs a staff of 150, headquartered near Dupont Circle in Washington, D.C. Led by the Executive Director, Elizabeth A. Rogan, the staff supports the activities of the Society which include the publication of peer-reviewed journals and books, the sponsorship of scientific meetings and exhibits, public policy initiatives, and programs for student members, OSA Local Sections and OSA Industry Development Associates.
