Deepest thanks to FMMC Program Director Yooni Lee, who presided over a splendid concert today! And a full house! Mezzo-soprano Gail Collins and pianist John Sutherland Earle started the program with a selection of songs by Samuel Barber. Next came a clarinet quintet by Carl Maria von Weber performed by clarinetist Albert Hunt, violinists Yun Kang and Eunju Kwak, violist Bonnie Cohen, and cellist David Boyle. Last on the program was Prokofiev Quintet, Op. 39, with musicians Bryan Cooke, oboe; Mark Simon, clarinet; Michael Casassa, violin; Jonathan Newmark, viola; and Pete Ostle, double bass. FMMC will be back at St. George's next season with more music.
