As the 2026 FIFA World Cup takes center stage, we're reminded of the determination and courage it takes to go after your dreams. ๐Ÿ†

While the men's tournament commands the world's attention, we're thinking of those who dedicate their lives to helping others pursue their aspirations. Michele Kang, owner of the Washington Spirit, is a powerful example of what happens when access meets opportunity โ€” investing in women's sports and inspiring the next generation to chase their own dreams. โšฝ

Her story is part of America: Built on Dreams, an 18-minute film screening daily in our Stand Together Theater. Alongside Virginia Ali, Edgar Lamadrid, Alan Hassenfeld, and Jayda Pugliese, these inspiring stories will leave you asking: what is your dream?

Screenings run every 30 minutes starting at 10:30 am. ๐Ÿ“ฝ๏ธ Visit the link in our bio to learn more.

The Tree of Generations just transformed into something a little more red, white, and blue ๐ŸŒณ ๐Ÿ—ฝ

Happy Flag Day from MCAAD โ€” where the American Dream is on full display, today and every day.

Check out this incredible transformation once an hour at our Center.

Choose your own adventure. ๐ŸŽฎ

Inside our Foundations of the Dream Gallery, the Game Tables let you shape your own version of the American Dream. Pick Education, Finance, Health, or Entrepreneurship โ€” then see where your decisions take you.

Every choice branches into something new, which means no two journeys look the same. Visitors pick a pathway and shape their own version of The Dream, one decision at a time.

No single right answer. No predetermined outcome. Just you, a branching path, and a world of possibilities. ๐Ÿค”

Turns out, thatโ€™s kind of the whole point.

You're probably watching the NBA Finals. But have you ever stopped to wonder... what does basketball actually do for the economy? ๐Ÿค”๐Ÿ€

Spoiler: it's way bigger than the ticket price.

Inside MCAAD's Finance Gallery, we trace exactly how one athlete's human capital can reshape a franchise, a city, and an entire industry, especially Michael Jordan's $7B Nike empire.

It's the most interesting economics class you'll never have to pay for.

If you've been seeing MCAAD pop up and wondering what we actually are, this is a good place to start. ๐Ÿ‘‡

We're a free Center steps in the heart of Washington, DC, and our mission is simple: to explore what the American Dream means and how we can expand access to it for everyone.

Each visitor who walks through our doors can upload their photo to the Ambassador George L. Argyros Tree of Generations โ€” a three-story living sculpture that grows a little with every person who visits. ๐ŸŒณ

There's something powerful about seeing your face on a tree, surrounded by over a thousand other people who came from different places, different stories, all chasing some version of the same thing.

That moment of pointing and saying "There I am!" โ€” that's what we're here for.

What does the American Dream mean to you?

Weโ€™ve been asking that question to people from every background, profession, country, and walk of life. The American Dream Stories is our ongoing video collection, and itโ€™s growing toward 10,000 stories.

In our Hall of Generations, you can explore the full collection at our kiosks. Browse by theme: democracy, prosperity, immigration, generational change. Search individual stories by name or background. Every visit, thereโ€™s something new.

You can also explore the collection online at the link in our bio.

Because the American Dream doesnโ€™t belong to any one person. It belongs to all of us - even Elmo!

Visit us Thursday-Monday. Reserve your free ticket at mcaad.org.

Some stories are sewn into fabric.

โ€œA Collective Horizonโ€ by Suchitra Mattai is a sweeping textile installation made from saris passed down through generations of her family. Each garment carries the story of a woman who wore it โ€” lives lived in pursuit of joy, love, and happiness.

Itโ€™s one of the most quietly powerful works in our building. This weekend, it feels especially fitting.

Happy Motherโ€™s Day to all the mothers who carry hope and dreams forward. ๐Ÿ’

Free admission, open Thursdayโ€“Monday.

As Teacher Appreciation Week comes to a close, we're thinking about all the educators who plant a seed, never knowing exactly how far it will grow.

Our Tapestry of Dreams is full of their stories.

You'll meet Jayda Pugliese, a Pennsylvania teacher whose hearing drastically declined as a child, but whose own teachers showed up for her anyway. She went on to win the Milken Educator Award and lead her school to National Blue Ribbon recognition from the U.S. Department of Education. And Diana Haneski, the school librarian who shielded 50 students during a 2018 shooting, then channeled her grief into healing, bringing therapy dogs and mindfulness back to her students.

Different stories. The same thread: educators who refused to give up on the people in their care.

To every teacher who has believed in a student before that student believed in themselves: thank you. Your work is part of this story. ๐ŸŒฑ
