Just wanted to send out some information for events DC Huskers will be having this year. If you have other ideas and want us to sponsor events please let us know.
We encourage everyone to sign up for our communications and also check events at DCHuskers.com. Additionally we use Facebook and IG to send out information.
We host game watches at Sports & Social DC.

The closest metro station to Sports & Social DC is the U Street/African-Amer Civil War Memorial/Cardozo Station (serving the Green and Yellow lines). It is incredibly convenient and requires just a quick 2-block, 3 to 5-minute walk west to get to the venue. Street parking and parking garages are also available, We have a new T-shirt design for this year, lots of new raffle items, and food and drink specials. We will soon be posting the events, but the first event will be the September 5th football opener against Ohio. Noon kickoff. The next two games are a 7pm and 715pm kickoff. Most other games are TBD but will be updated when we find out.
At all games we will be hosting a raffle with all proceeds going to a scholarship fund that sends local kids from the DMV to U of Nebraska. T-Shirt sales and raffle items contribute to the fund or you can also donate directly to the fund.
Nebraska Women’s Volleyball team will be playing in MD on October 3rd. Tickets went on sale today 14July2026. We will not be getting a block of tickets based on difficultly to get the seats and price that everyone wants. MD football is at Nebraska that same day. Depending on timing we hope to host an event for both games.

Group Sales for General Admission tickets will be $15 and can be purchased today through this site and link:
Other $15 tickets may be available that aren’t general admission if you buy 10 or more. $35 tickets are available for center court and no discount regardless of how many we buy. Please just reach out to Matt for best deals or purchase through this site.

Nebraska Men’s and Women’s basketball teams both play in MD this year also.
Nebraska football plays at Rutgers this year so we will plan a migration to that game. If enough interest we can bus up together.
Big 10 Happy Hours will be happening once a month. A special football kickoff one will be planned.
