For all interested parties, Nico Lang will be doing a book signing of his book American Teenager tonight at Foundry UMC at 6:30. Free Mom Hugs has been invited to be there and provide our normal loving support to the LGBTQIA+ community. I plan to be there between 5:30 and I invite anyone in the DMV area to come join me.

The Trump Regime has recently published two draft rules that would significantly restrict access to transition-related care across the country:

1. Banning Medicaid and CHIP funding for gender-affirming care for transgender youth

2.Excluding hospitals and providers that offer this care from participating in Medicare and Medicaid altogether

The rules are not final and must first go through a 60 day public comment period. The Human Rights Campaign has built a public comment portal that you can use to tell HHS that you are opposed to these draft rules: https://bit.ly/comment-hhs ( 🔗 in our bio)

HHS must respond to EVERYTHING raised in comments. You can comment anonymously. Comments cannot contain profanity or they will be discarded.
