Today, The Mid-Hudson Lumber Dealers Association showed up in Albany in full force alongside our colleagues from the Northeast Retail Lumber Association.

Together, we met with legislators and their staff to discuss the real issues impacting our industry — especially affordability.

It was encouraging to sit down with so many representatives who were willing to listen and have productive conversations about the challenges we’re facing in the building materials industry. We’re committed to continuing this fight together to help keep our industry fair, strong, and affordable for everyone involved.

We are proud to stand alongside such a dedicated group advocating for our businesses, employees, and communities.

The President, Mike Kelly and Vice President Dale Hammond of the Mid-Hudson Lumber Dealers Association are currently at ABMA Advocacy Day in Washington, D.C., advocating on behalf of our industry. 🇺🇸

They’re working hard to ensure fair financial policies, protect small and independent businesses, and give a strong voice to lumber dealers across our region.

We’re proud to have dedicated leadership representing us where it matters most—on Capitol Hill. 💪

Great day at the Montgomery St. Patrick’s Day Ramble ☘️

Dale Hammond of Messco Building Supply and Sam Lane of Builder’s FirstSource (Middletown) were proud to be part of the celebration, each bringing out their company trucks and team members to join in.

It’s always a great feeling to show up, support the community, and be part of events that bring everyone together. Days like this are what it’s all about.

The advocacy never ends.
