Today is Metastatic Breast Cancer Awareness Day. 💗 We recognize those living with metastatic breast cancer (mBC), honor their journeys, and stand with their families, caregivers, and communities.
For women of color, representation and access to information matter. Connecting advocacy organizations, bringing diverse perspectives into the conversation, and sharing resources on research and clinical trials are important parts of building more supportive care experiences.
The National Minority Quality Forum (NMQF) continues this work through Support Our Sisters, helping connect women affected by metastatic breast cancer with resources and community support.
Our commitment doesn't end with one day of awareness. We must continue listening to patients, elevating their voices, and working toward better support throughout their journeys.
