🌍 AI in Agriculture is no longer the future — it’s the present.

At EBII Foundation, we are focused on how emerging technologies can strengthen, not replace, the people who feed the world.

From drone-enabled field monitoring to AI-powered decision systems, innovation is transforming agriculture into a more precise, data-driven, and resilient ecosystem. This means:
• Smarter crop and yield analysis
• Better resource allocation
• Reduced post-harvest losses
• Stronger decision-making for farmers and stakeholders

Technology does not replace farmers — it equips them with intelligence, speed, and resilience to thrive in a changing global food system.

At EBII Foundation, we are committed to ensuring that Africa and emerging markets are not left behind in this transformation, but are positioned at the forefront of agricultural innovation.

We are honored to announce Ms. Lindsey Owusu Appiah as a keynote speaker at the 2026 African Leaders & Partners (ALP) Summit.

As Deputy Mayor for Public Safety and Justice for the District of Columbia, Ms. Owusu Appiah leads the District’s public safety and justice agencies, overseeing critical initiatives related to community safety, justice reform, emergency preparedness, and intergovernmental coordination within the U.S. capital. Her leadership represents a strong example of strategic governance, public sector innovation, and civic partnership at one of the most important political centers in the world.

Her participation at the summit is especially significant as conversations around U.S.–Africa engagement increasingly require stronger collaboration between government institutions, private sector leaders, and international stakeholders. Having a senior Washington, D.C. official participate underscores the growing importance of Africa within global policy, trade, investment, and security discussions.

Under the theme:
“U.S.–Africa Engagement in a Global Context: Trade, Industrial Policy, and Investment & Risk Alignment”

The summit will convene policymakers, business leaders, investors, diplomats, and strategic partners to advance high-level dialogue and collaboration between the United States and Africa.

Ghana’s move to introduce a free visa regime for all African nationals starting May 25 (Africa Day) is more than a policy shift — it is a signal of accelerating African integration.

Capital does not move efficiently where people cannot.

By reducing friction in mobility, Ghana is helping to reduce friction in investment.

The next phase of African growth will be defined not just by capital, but by coordination.
