Israeli activists from the "Changing Direction" movement staged a sit-in at the offices of the national broadcasting regulator.
The protest targeted unequal government benefits granted to Channel 14, a major right-wing news network.
Despite being one of Israel's top four most-watched television channels, the network maintains an official regulatory status as a "small independent channel," exempting it from standard fees and granting it millions in financial benefits.
The regulator called the police, who detained five demonstrators and injured one.

We are a nonprofit organization that supports resistance from within. Our mission is to bring together justice-seekers from around the world to support resisters and military refusers in Israel who are resisting genocide, occupation, and apartheid.
For over 20 years, we have provided resisters with training, funds for legal defense, and mental health care. We ensure they have all the resources needed to stand in solidarity with Palestinians and resist the actions and policies of their own country.

Radical activist and artist Rachel Hagigi is documenting the Gaza genocide in embroidery form.

"I saw these images on the news and couldn't ignore the dissonance they present." She told us. "The media coverage of Gaza's bombings seems almost 'spectacular,' a complete antithesis to the devastating horrors they generate."

Her embroidery captures that gap: the bombing itself, which Israeli pilots put so little thought and effort into, is contrasted with the long hours of meticulous work Hagigi puts into her craft. While the bomb represents life gone in an instant, Hagigi's work immortalises that instant, forcing our attention towards its horrific details.

Hagigi: "To me, activist action and artistic practice are intertwined. What's important here is the political message – art is only a means to convey it. That distinction is crucial today, especially when the majority of the art world stays silent."

Resistance has many forms, art is no exception. Share to support artists fighting for an end to genocide, occupation and apartheid.

The exhibition, "Blackout," is on display at the Mamuta Art and Research Center in Jerusalem until June 20.

9 anti-zionist activists in Haifa were arrested for quietly waving Palestinian flags to commemorate the Nakba day. Israeli police immediately attacked them.

Today, May 15th, we commemorate the mass displacement of Palestinians in 1948. 78 years later, Israel has not slowed down its genocidal displacement campaign.

All Palestinians have the right to return home and to live in freedom.
