Big things have been happening behind the scenes… and today we’re finally ready to share it.
Sharing the Land is officially a 501(c)(3) nonprofit!
For those who have noticed we’ve been a little quieter on social lately- just know this: quiet doesn’t mean gone. It means working. It means building. It means laying a foundation that lasts.
Over the past months we’ve been strengthening the initiative from the inside out- formalizing our structure, building partnerships, and doubling down on what matters most: creating more private land access through conservation and cooperation.
This next chapter allows us to expand our impact- connecting landowners and access seekers, supporting meaningful habitat work, and investing in long-term conservation solutions that benefit land, wildlife, and community.
And here’s what matters most: we didn’t get here alone.
To every landowner who said yes.
To every access seeker who showed up ready to work.
To every partner, sponsor, volunteer, and friend who believed in this idea early on — thank you. Your support, encouragement, and trust are what made this possible.
If you’ve shared our posts, told a friend, opened a gate, written a check, attended an event, or simply cheered us on YOU are part of this foundation.
We believe access builds stewards.
We believe cooperation builds trust.
And we believe conservation happens best when we work together.
This is just the beginning.
We’re here. We’re growing. And with your continued support, we can continue to grow the Sharing the Land initiative!
