World Autism Day – 2nd April 2026.

Today, as the world marks World Autism Day, I reflect not just as an advocate, but as a mother.
Autism has shaped our family in ways we never imagined. It has brought moments of deep frustration, but also moments of pure joy. It has taught us patience, empathy, and a kind of love that is unconditional and enduring.
The journey has not been easy. There have been days of feeling misunderstood, isolated, and overwhelmed. Days of questioning if we are doing enough.
We need a society that accepts, includes, and supports individuals with autism,
a community that recognizes their worth and creates real opportunities for them to live, learn, and thrive.
Today, I invite you to move beyond awareness to acceptance and action. Let us break barriers, challenge stereotypes, and build a more inclusive and compassionate world.
Together, we can make a difference.
