Warren County Missouri 4-H

Warren County Missouri 4-H Warren County 4-H is a community of young people and volunteers learning leadership, citizenship and life skills.

Missouri 4-H is a community of 315,000 young people across Missouri learning leadership, citizenship and life skills. While this often happens in 4-H clubs, there’s lots more! It's about making new friends and memories while preparing to be future leaders - whether you live in a rural or urban area!

4-H is an important part of University of Missouri Extension and is publicly supported by county,

state and federal governments. Private resources, both human and financial, are used to enrich the learning experiences of youth and adults.

Thanks to a group of amazing volunteers, The Lisa Miller Nature Quest Day Camp was an amazing day and everyone had a great time! We learned a lot of new outdoor skills including shelter building and fire starting, we learned some wilderness first aid and survival skills, we cooked over an open fire, took a hike, did some nature crafts and we played in the creek. It was a ton of fun!

On Friday our Clover day camp group was small but we had a ton of fun! We learned about jungle animals, made elephant feet can stilts and had elephant races, we created jungle silhouette paintings and ate like piranhas. We also played games, collected bugs and played in the creek. It was a great day!!

Hundreds of STEM 2 Go bags were packed today by members of the Trailblazers 4-H Club. These bags will be distributed throughout the summer at the Warrenton and Wright City libraries to promote STEM learning by youth throughout the county all summer long. These bags, plus the hundred that were already delivered to the libraries were made possible with grant funding from FCS Financial and the Missouri 4-H Foundation. The bags explore a variety of STEM topics including agriculture and gardening, balloon rockets and laws of motion, wind power and the engineering design process. Stop by the library each month for a new exciting bag to take home!
