A note from Bluffton Dispatch ( Please do NOT message Wells County Emergency Management)
Wells County residents can sign up for the Deer Pick-Up List to receive fresh meat when available.
How it works:
Send us your contact info (form below).
Deer are usually from vehicle accidents but still have salvageable meat.
Calls typically come dawn–dusk.
A deputy will issue a deer tag when you pick up.
Must be picked up immediately (Wells County residents only).
Reminder: If you were on the list last year, please message us to confirm you’d like to remain. Participants who repeatedly decline or don’t respond may be removed. We will try to vary calls to give everyone a chance.
