Today marks the 25th anniversary of one of America’s darkest days - the terrorist attacks of September 11th, 2001. The nation watched in horror as two airplanes hit the towers of the World Trade Center and the Pentagon.

Today we pause to honor the innocent lives lost, we pay tribute to the brave first responders who rushed towards danger, and we remember fallen and their families and friends that were forever changed.
