Ok everybody, due to some generous contributions, we have several pieces of medical equipment for anybody needing them. Several walkers, several commodes, several canes, positioning pillows (wedges) a hoyer life and wheelchair. Contact Dan @(570)417-4153 or the Ambulance Station. These items are free to those in need.

Ok, so the members of the ambulance are going to try another project: we are collecting used medical equipment(canes, walkers, shower chairs and the like) we will clean and disinfect them and make them available for any resident needing that type of equipment.

This in addition to the medical care provided to residents and surrounding communities.

Providing smoke alarms to anyone needing them. Blankets and personal care items for fire or disaster situations.

Provide the house number signs so we can quickly locate you in an emergency.

And of course the MCI unit for response to emergencies with a high number of injuries.

We still rent the hall out for your recreational needs.

Although the Slocum Township Volunteer Ambulance was NOT invited to the fire company parade today, we will be attending and showcasing our newly renovated Mass Casualty Incident (MCI) trailer. This trailer will respond to incidents of 20 or more casualties, and be an emergency service asset for several counties. Our goal is to provide quality care to the Slocum Township residents as well as the surrounding communities ! Thank you for your continued support!
