Oregon Camp Cedarbrook is a co-ed camp in Central Oregon for ages 8-18. At Oregon Camp Cedarbrook we aim to help equip young men and women. At camp we teach skills such as canoeing, archery, campfire cooking, crafts, and more. We aim to help campers build on their skills as they return each year. OCC is a register 501(c)3 non-profit and all donations are tax deductible.

The Grasshopper Fire is still active, and Camp
Morrow remains at a Level 2 evacuation status. As of today’s update, the fire is 85,114 acres and 20% contained.

We are thankful for the progress that has been made and for the many firefighters, crews, aircraft personnel, and emergency responders working tirelessly on this fire. But there is still much work ahead, and changing winds, warmer temperatures, and drier conditions remain a concern.

Please continue to pray for:

🙏 Safety and protection for camp and the surrounding communities
🙏 Strength, wisdom, and protection for the firefighters and emergency personnel
🙏 Favorable weather and winds
🙏 Continued progress toward containment
🙏 Peace and wisdom for everyone affected by the fire

We are grateful for every prayer being lifted up. The fire is not out, so please keep praying with us. 💚

We loved having Tweety, Swan, and Pepper, along with two of our campers, represent Oregon Camp Cedarbrook at the Meadow Springs Community Church - MSCC Prayer Partner Fair! 💚

They had the opportunity to share about camp, connect with our prayer partners, and give a glimpse into what makes Cedarbrook such a special place.

We’re so thankful for Meadow Springs Community Church and for everyone who supports our campers, staff, and ministry through prayer. Your prayers truly make a difference, and we’re grateful to have you as part of the Cedarbrook community!

The news we’ve been praying for! 🙏

There is finally some encouraging progress on the Grasshopper Fire. Containment has reached 17%, and Camp Morrow is no longer in the Red (Level 3) evacuation zone and is now in the Yellow evacuation zone.

This is a meaningful step in the right direction, and we’re thankful for God’s continued protection and for the incredible work of the firefighters and first responders.

Please continue to pray:
• For the safety of all firefighters, emergency personnel, and residents.
• For wisdom and endurance for everyone responding to the fire.
• For favorable weather and continued progress toward full containment.
• For God’s protection over Camp Morrow and the surrounding communities.

Please continue to join us in praying for our friends at Camp Morrow as they continue to navigate the Grasshopper Fire.

Camp Morrow shared that they are thankful for God’s protection over the camp, their staff, firefighters, and their neighbors. They also shared that the fire has not reached camp property and no structures have been lost. They continue to monitor conditions and are seeking God’s wisdom in the days ahead.

Please pray:

* For God’s continued protection over Camp Morrow and the surrounding communities.
* For the firefighters, volunteers, and emergency personnel serving so faithfully.
* For wisdom and discernment for Camp Morrow’s leadership.
* For the fire to be contained quickly and safely.

Camp ministry is a special family, and we have the privilege of standing with our brothers and sisters at Camp Morrow in prayer. May God continue to protect this place where so many have come to know and grow in Christ.

Please join us in praying for our friends and rental site Camp Morrow as the Grasshopper Fire continues.

At this time, Camp Morrow is safe, and we’re thankful for God’s protection. Please continue to keep them in your prayers, along with the firefighters, emergency personnel, and everyone impacted by the fire.

We’ll continue to trust the Lord and encourage everyone to follow Camp Morrow and local emergency officials for official updates as the situation develops.

Camp week is coming to a close, and we’d love for families to join us for our Closing Ceremony at TOMORROW at 11:00 AM!

Come celebrate all that God has done this week and hear a little about your camper’s time at camp. After the ceremony, families will be able to check out and head home.
