Look for entries to open in just a couple of weeks...
Celilo and her fiancé proudly call Irrigon, Oregon home. Celilo serves as the SAGE Center Coordinator at the SAGE Center in Boardman, where she blends her passion for agriculture, education, and community outreach into her daily work. With more than 12 years of experience in the show ring, she competed with steers, swine, and heifers across the Northwest, exhibiting the Grand Champion Steer at the Oregon State Fair three consecutive years and earning success at the national level.
After her time in the ring, she served as the 2020–2021 Oregon FFA State Treasurer, further strengthening her leadership and dedication to the agricultural industry. In 2020, she founded Hurricane Cattle Company, a show cattle operation focused on raising competitive, high-quality show steers and registered Simmental cattle.
Celilo began her collegiate career at Eastern Wyoming College, where she earned multiple livestock judging honors, including 2nd High Individual in Swine at AKSARBEN and 3rd High Overall Individual at the Casper College Livestock Judging Contest, before transferring to the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, where she competed on the livestock judging team and was part of the 9th High Team Overall Senior College Team at NAILE. She earned her Associate of Science in Agriculture Communications and is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Agricultural and Natural Resource Communications with a minor in Agricultural Leadership.
Above all, Celilo is passionate about mentoring youth and helping the next generation grow in their knowledge and love for the livestock industry, and she and her fiancé are excited to continue building a life rooted in agriculture, community, and family.
