Some of the Magnolia House staff, along with several of our dedicated prayer partners, were given the incredible opportunity to attend the Turning Point USA Womenโ€™s Leadership Summit in Texas.

So far, it has been an amazing experience! We have been blessed with safe travels, wonderful company, great food, lots of laughter, and inspiring messages from outstanding speakers. Each session has encouraged and challenged us as leaders, and we are grateful for the opportunity to learn and grow together.

We are excited to see what God has in store over the next few days and look forward to bringing back valuable insights that will continue to strengthen our ministry and the women we serve.

Thank you to everyone who has been praying for us during this trip!

A shout out to Heather for loving on the Magnolia House ladies today โ™ฅ๏ธ

Last week, several members of our team had the opportunity to attend the Oconee County Probate Court Mental Health Summit hosted by Judge Singleton.

The summit provided valuable information, collaboration opportunities, and meaningful discussions about the importance of mental health services and community partnerships throughout Oconee County. We are grateful to be part of a community that continues to prioritize mental health awareness, support, and recovery.

๐Ÿ’š Mental Health Awareness: For Families Walking Through Addiction and Recovery ๐Ÿ’š

If you love someone who is struggling with addiction or navigating recovery, your mental health matters too.

Addiction affects more than just the individualโ€”it impacts spouses, parents, children, grandparents, and friends. The worry, sleepless nights, fear of the unknown, disappointment, and hope can be emotionally exhausting.

If your loved one is still in active addiction, remember that you cannot control their choices, but you can choose to care for yourself. Set healthy boundaries, seek support, and donโ€™t carry the burden alone.

If your loved one is in recovery, know that healing is a journey for the entire family. Recovery brings hope, but it can also bring anxiety, rebuilding trust, and learning new ways to communicate and support one another.

Today, give yourself permission to:
โœ… Take care of your own mental health.
โœ… Reach out for support.
โœ… Talk about your feelings.
โœ… Celebrate progress, no matter how small.
โœ… Hold on to hope.

Recovery is possible. Healing is possible. And families deserve support and healing too.

You are not alone. ๐Ÿ’š

The OARS guys had a wonderful day setting up honeycomb for their new bees, then replaced a walkway to a boat dock for one of our Advisory Board members. Then McDonalds in West Union provided a free lunch for everyone! What an awesome Grateful Friday!
