💙 Deflection in Action!

This week, the Oconee Law Enforcement Deflection Team had the opportunity to visit Clemson University and share about the important work happening right here in Oconee County.

Our team was able to explain how deflection works, how we partner with law enforcement officers, and how we connect with individuals through social referrals—helping link people to resources, support, treatment, and recovery services when they need them most.

We’re grateful for the opportunity to share what we’re learning and how collaboration between law enforcement, recovery services, and our community can help create pathways toward hope and change.

Last week, Ashley Williams, Director of Christ Central Ministries Oconee, had the opportunity to speak at the Seneca Rotary Club and share more about our ministry, the programs we offer, and the work being done throughout our community.

It was also a wonderful opportunity to personally thank the Seneca Rotary Club for their incredibly generous financial donation. Because of their support, we were able to have our walk-in freezer repaired—something that makes a tremendous difference in our ability to serve others each day.

We are so grateful for organizations like the Seneca Rotary Club that believe in what we do and choose to invest in our community. Their generosity reaches far beyond our ministry as they continue to support so many organizations making a difference throughout Oconee County.
