📣 PROJECT K4 – SHARE POST (LAUNCH)
🧠🎯 Project K4 is proud to support our partners at Ka Makani Kaili Koa (KMKK) in the launch of their new series:
Daily Konane Strategy
Inspired by the traditional Hawaiian game Konane, this initiative transforms gameplay into a daily practice of strategic thinking, cultural grounding, and real-world application.
Designed with Hawaiʻi’s realities in mind, each post offers a practical way to navigate everyday challenges—through intentional decision-making and ʻike Hawaiʻi.
This work reflects the heart of our DRIVE Indigenous Games Design framework—where culture, strategy, and innovation come together.
🤝🌺 We encourage our community to follow along, engage, and support this important work.

🌺🪨 Launching May 1: Daily Konane Strategy🪨🌺
A Collaborative Initiative of Ka Makani Kaili Koa (Under the Helmet) Project K4 (DRIVE Indigenous Games Design)
Inspired by the traditional Hawaiian game Konane
Beginning May 1, Ka Makani Kaili Koa (KMKK), in partnership with Project K4, will launch a daily series rooted in strategy, culture, and real-life application:
Daily Konane Strategy
Each day, we will share a single move from an asymmetrical Konane board—reflecting conditions that are not always balanced, predictable, or fair.
Because for many in Hawaiʻi today, that is the reality.
🚗⏳🚗🌺 Built for Hawaiʻi’s Everyday Realities🌺🚗⏳🚗
We recognize the daily challenges our communities face:
Long hours in traffic
The rising cost of living
Safety concerns in our neighborhoods
The constant need to make difficult decisions with limited options
This series is designed to meet people where they are—
not in ideal conditions, but in real conditions.
🧠🌺 What This Series Offers🌺🧠
Each post provides a simple, structured way to reset and refocus:
The Field – What you’re dealing with today
The Move – One strategic action
The Strategy – A way to think through it
Cultural Insight – Grounded in ʻike Hawaiʻi
Today’s Practice – Something you can apply immediately
Even in a few moments—while waiting, commuting, or taking a break—
You can engage, reflect, and move forward with intention.
🌺🪨 Aligned with the Season of Kū 🪨🌺
The series runs through October, during the time of Kū—
a season of strength, discipline, and action.
Not a time to wait.
A time to move with purpose.
🤝 A Simple Way to Support the Work🤝
Each post will include a Facebook donation option.
If this series brings value to your day, we invite you to consider supporting it.
Your contributions will directly fund:
Indigenous Games Design programs
Cultural education and curriculum
Youth and community-based learning opportunities
Support is not expected—but it is appreciated.
And it helps ensure this work continues for our community.
🌺⚖️ Why This Matters⚖️🌺
In Hawaiʻi, we don’t always get ideal conditions.
But we can still choose how we respond.
This series is about building that mindset—
one day, one move, one decision at a time.
🌺🧠 🤝Join Us May 1🤝🧠🌺
Follow along.
Engage when you can.
Apply what works for you.
And together, let’s move with intention in this season of Kū.
