Masons Frank Nellen and J.B. Robison, Jr. remind everyone to come out to the American Legion tonight, June 10, for the Vinita Masonic Lodge's annual Fish Fry fundraiser, from 5 to 8 p.m. Come out and help support the Masons community projects.

Join us this evening for the annual Vinita Masonic Lodge #5 Fish Fry & Auction Fundraiser at the American Legion!

🍽️ Fish Fry Dinner Starts at 5:00 PM
🔨 Live Auction Begins at 6:00 PM
🎟️ $10 Chances to win a $300 gas card from Woodshed! Only 250 tickets printed!

We’ve had an incredible response from our community with LOTS of great auction donations already received!

⭐ Featured items include:
• A beautiful children’s picnic table donated by Penny Livingston
• TWO treated lumber raised-bed garden planters donated by Penny Livingston
• A stunning turquoise & sterling silver ring and matching necklace donated by Jim & Gaylene Ellis and Legacy Jewelry of Siloam Springs
• Plus many more donated items that will be offered throughout the evening!

If you’re willing to donate cakes, pies, cookies, brownies, breads, or any homemade baked goods, please drop them off at the American Legion this afternoon. Every donation helps make this fundraiser a success!

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who has donated items, volunteered their time, purchased raffle tickets, and helped spread the word. Your support means more than you know.

This fundraiser is vital to helping Vinita Masonic Lodge #5 continue its annual operations and community service efforts, including:

🎓 Scholarship programs benefiting students in Vinita, Welch, Bluejacket, and Ketchum
⚾ Support of local youth and community sports fundraisers
🤝 Various community projects and charitable efforts throughout our area

This Memorial Day, we pause in solemn reflection to honor the men and women of the Armed Forces who gave their lives in service to our Nation. Their sacrifice stands as a lasting testament to courage, duty, and devotion to something greater than oneself.

As Freemasons, we are reminded that the true measure of a life is found in how it serves others. This Memorial Day, we especially remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice so that others might live in freedom and peace.

We also extend our heartfelt gratitude to the families who carry their memory forward. Your loss is shared in our collective remembrance, and your loved ones will not be forgotten.

May we all take time to reflect, to honor, and to renew our commitment to the principles of liberty, unity, and service.

Lest we forget.

Vinita Masonic Lodge #5 Education / Scholarship Committee Chair, Brother Brandon Millarr, presented our Lodge's (2) Vinita High School $1,000 scholarships last night at the VHS awards ceremony. Victor Gomez III and Connor Millarr are the 2026 scholarship recipients! Congratulations to these two young men!

What a great day for the future of Masonry in Vinita Oklahoma! Today we raised a total of eight Master Masons, five of those in the Vinita Masonic Lodge #5!

Six different lodges came together to make this happen with Freemasons coming from places such as Sallisaw, Muldrow, Oklahoma City, Edmond and many more cities! Thank you Brethren for all of your hard work making today's degree work go so smoothly!

Freemasonry, making good men better men for centuries! These new Master Masons are ready to continue their Masonic journey and continue being good stewards of their communities!
