Hello! We have decided to postpone our BIO Girls - Victoria season so we can have more time to bring on mentors for our program and be able to impact more girls! We are looking at a 2026 fall program, starting in September and finishing up before Thanksgiving. Stay tuned for more information!

But what does a BIO Girls session actually look like? Each program meets weekly for 12 weeks for a 90 minute session. Starting with faith-based devotions, we then dive into a large-group lesson.

Topics range from coping with anxiety, to building healthy friendships, to goal setting, to positive body image and so much more. From there, we break out into small groups where our mentors and participants discuss our lessons in more depth. Finally, we close out the session focusing on our goal-setting activity, in our case prepping for a 5K at the end of the season. Note: you do not need to be a runner to mentor or participate as, all abilities are welcome!

Can't commit, please share with someone you think would be a great mentor with our BIO Girls program!

Each BIO Girls program requires a group dedicated of volunteer Mentors. As a Mentor, you get the opportunity to work directly with a small group of participants each week throughout the season. Mentors attend all 12 sessions, lead small group discussions, and participate in the goal-setting activity each week.

This positive mentorship is a key element of the BIO Girls program and 'relationship with mentor' continues to be one of the top takeaways from a program. Join us for another awesome season!

As we are all enjoying Spring Break and making summer plans, I wanted to share with you that BIO Girls Victoria is shifting to late summer/early fall!

We will continue to meet on Sundays from 4:00 pm - 5:30 pm at the Victoria Rec Center!

Last Session Date: 10/11/2026
Finale Event Date: 10/10/2026

Registration Opens on June 23, 2026 for girls that will be going in to grades 2nd-6th in the 26/27 school year!
