This past week, members of the Connecticut Chapter of the IAAI attended the IAAI ITC in St. Louis. It was an outstanding week of training, education, and networking with peers and experts from throughout the world, both in the classrooms and in the basement of the venue where we were evacuated several times for tornado warnings! This week we were reminded of the importance of staying vigilant in both our surroundings and in our professions, and we are committed to raising the bar in our fire investigations as we move forward. Special thanks to the IAAI and the host Chapter, Missouri IAAI, for their hard work and dedication for another successful conference.

We had a great turnout yesterday for our quarterly meeting at the Eastern Connecticut Fire School in Willimantic, Connecticut. Training was provided to our members on an important topic, Curriculum Vitaes.

Our next quarterly meeting will be held on June 24, 2026 in North Haven, Connecticut. We have a great training lined up, featuring a keynote speaker who responded to the World Trade Center on 9/11/2001, two seasoned attorneys well-versed in fire investigation, and a judge who will provide a presentation on expert witness testimony. Stay tuned for more…

Please join us for our Quarterly Meeting this Wednesday at the Eastern Connecticut Fire School. Details below:
