Veterans Community Response VCR has adopted the warrior’s creed “we bring everyone home " and believes this is a community responsibility.

Veterans Community Response is a non-profit organization composed of firefighters, veterans and therapists working diligently to support combat veterans in their post war readjustment process. Our programs center on the intention of helping combat veterans develop the skills to navigate their post war challenges to achieve productive and satisfying lives after serving our country. It is our firm b

elief that with support, compassion and understanding we can create a safe and structured environment that will promote the healing process for all who serve. We are proud to rely solely on the resources and volunteerism of our community and our unique collaborative healing approach provides veterans with proven and effective methods to adjust to post-combat life.

That’s a wrap! Kind of. 🙃 Thank you so much to all who supported our Hero Shop this week! We appreciate you so much!

If you missed out, we’ll have some of our crafters’ fun things at the Very Fun Fairfield Flag Days tomorrow. Come see us! Our Fallen Heroes float will be in the parade and we will also be set up in the Park for the day. This is such a great event! (Over 100 years of practice might have something to do with that.)🤗 We hope to see you!!

Veterans Community Response & The Fallen Heroes Project Invite you to an Open House!


We love work-living next door to each other, and look forward to sharing more of what we each do at our Open House on June 20th.


We'll have burgers and brats, demos, tours, and information on ways you can get involved.


You'll be surprised at all we do and the opportunities offered for Veterans, Gold Star/Surviving families, and those desiring to support.


Come for lunch, bring your friends, check out the Spokane Motor Pool's historic military vehicles, and more!
