Habitat believes in giving a hand up not a hand out! We offer a hand up, not a hand out. We work with our partner families to provide affordable housing.

Habitat educates our homeowners so that they may succeed in homeownership and pass their newly acquired knowledge onto their children. We are a non-profit organization and truly depend on the kindness and generosity of our donors and volunteers. To become involved or donate, please visit our website at www.habitatsouthsarasota.org.

Home safe, feeling inspired, and ready to get to work! 💙🏡

Our team returned from the Habitat for Humanity International Affiliate Conference with new ideas, valuable connections, and a renewed passion for the work we do. Spending time with Habitat teams from around the world reminded us how much we can learn from one another—and how powerful this mission is.

We’re excited to put what we learned into action as we continue building homes, communities, and hope here in South Sarasota County!
