👑 2026 Van Wert County Jr. Fair Royalty Applications Are Now Open! 👑
The Van Wert County Junior Fair is now accepting applications for the 2026 Junior Fair Royalty- this includes livestock and special interest royalty. This is a great opportunity for youth leaders to represent the Junior Fair and showcase their dedication to 4‑H and FFA.
📌 Who Can Apply?
• King and Queen Applicants: Youth ages 16–19 as of January 1st, 2026
• Livestock and Project Royalty Applicants: Youth ages 13-19 as of January 1st, 2026.
• Must be an active 4‑H or FFA member
• Must meet all role requirements and demonstrate good moral character
🗓 Important Dates to Know:
• Applications due: July 1, 2026 by 11:59 p.m. (no exceptions)
• Interviews: Sunday, August 2, 2026
• Royalty announced: Wednesday, August 26, 2026 at the Coronation Ceremony in the Junior Fair Building
📋 Selection Process:
Applicants will be evaluated on their completed application, interview, and overall poise. Application scoring includes Jr. Fair project work, Jr. Fair related groups, school/church/community activities, and a narrative report. Neatness, grammar, spelling, and knowledge of the Junior Fair matter!
⭐ Additional Details:
• An exhibitor may win King or Queen one time during their Junior Fair career
• Previous Runner-Ups may apply again if eligible
• Scholarship money will be awarded to the King, Queen, and Runner‑Ups

Registration for 2026 4‑H Camp at Camp Palmer (June 29 – July 3) is now available!
📄 Camp Registration forms can be picked up at the Van Wert County Extension Office or completed through the Van Wert County 4‑H App.

This year’s Cloverbud Day Camp is SPACE THEMED and packed with hands‑on fun that’s out of this world! Join us on June 18th from 9:00 AM–3:00 PM for a full day of activities, games, and summer excitement. This will be held on the Van Wert County Fairgrounds!
🍀Ages: 5 to 8 years old
🌟 Cost: FREE
🎒 What to bring:
• Packed lunch
• Swimsuit
• Beach towel
