A HUGE thank you to all the individuals and businesses on this board as well as all of you who supported us throughout the weekend! It was another great year at the Mid-Summer Celebration and we could not do this wonderful family event without all of you! The Valmeyer Area Jaycees celebrated our 50th year of shooting fireworks with a record crowd on Friday night and the Valmeyer Lakers did an excellent job running the baseball tournament as well; even navigating some weather challenges Sunday afternoon. Congrats to Millstadt on their title!

Also huge thank you to all of our vendor partners who provided great food throughout the weekend!

We look forward to seeing everyone next year as we celebrate USAs 250th birthday! Big plans are already underway and we can't wait to see y'all there! 🇺🇸

A little rain delay, but the tarp is off the field and the 3rd place game is about to resume. Bags tournament is still going under the big pavilion. Food stands remain open!

WOW! What an incredible night last night! We take great pride in being a free family event that has a history of over 50 years, and y'all certainly showed us last night why that's important! One of our biggest crowds EVER!! If you have any pictures from last night, drop them below we would love to see them!

The food and beer stands have been resupplied and we're on our way to another great day! Baseball and volleyball tournaments are going now, and CLUless takes the stage at 830!

We’ve had a great crowd all night! The sun is going down and the COLOSSAL fireworks show will begin at dusk! Dos Amigos sounds awesome and Bad Influence will be starting as soon as fireworks are done!

Today is the day....Happy 4th of July everyone! The Valmeyer Area Jaycees would like to thank everyone for their support in helping make the Mid-Summer Celebration a success year after year. We couldn't do it without you!

Our **FREE** COLOSSAL FIREWORKS SHOW will start at dusk (around 9pm) and with this year being the Jaycees' 50th year of lighting up your 4th of July, we tried to go a little bigger and better to celebrate!

LOTS of great food from the Valmeyer Lions Club, Valmeyer Knights of Columbus, Big Rick’s Meats and Eats, Marie's Ice Cream Shoppe, Valmeyer YSA, Engine House Kettle Corn, the VHS Junior Class, & the Valmeyer Jaycees have iced down the beer and seltzers for you!

We have lots planned for you and your family today and we would love to see everyone down at the park on this beautiful day!

PSA: The Valmeyer Area Jaycees are looking for some volunteers to round out our schedule in supervising our bounce house at this year's Valmeyer Mid-Summer Celebration. The only thing required as part of this is limiting to 4 participants at a time. Please share with any individuals or organizations in need of volunteer hours.
