ALERT! We have had two reports of truck break ins in the Vista on Wednesday.

1. 100 block of Farallon, the window of a truck was broken about 3:30 a.m. Wednesday 6/17.The perpetrators were observed by neighbors to be "two guys sitting on the hood of a car driving down the street. They pulled up in front of our neighbor’s truck and broke the window. Looked at other cars, too." We learned from another neighbor that nothing was taken from inside the truck, but also that no valuables were there to start with, so it is hard to know the intention of these young men. The CAR WAS WHITE. The belief is that there was one driver and two on the hood - so three in the team. All the men were wearing all black clothing. If we get video, we will post it.

2. On Valle Vista, below Farallon, a WHITE HONDA ACCORD was observed breaking into a truck. Tools were stolen (someone's livelihood). Due to timing, neighbors suspect this may have been the same group.

***Again, if you have video or other info to share, please send to: [email protected] and will will get the info out to neighbors.

ACTIONS TO TAKE:

1. Call the police if you see similar behaviors (sitting on car hood, car type, trio, all black clothing, other suspicious behavior such as looking into cars).

2. Please also remember to not leave valuables in your car that are visible to passersby; keep the doors locked and windows rolled up to prevent easy entry.

3. If another incident occurs, let us know so we can send an alert out to neighbors.
thanks!-Nancy

ALERT - Found DOG

Is this your puppy? This dog was found up in the 400 block of El Camino Real and has been picked up by animal control. He was chipped but apparently it's not working and they could not find the owner. He had been roaming around in the 300 block earlier today and some neighbors gave him water. If this is your pup - or you recognize it as a neighbor's dog, please call Solano County Animal Control ASAP!
