Based on request, future Valdez Fat Bike Bash events will be held on the last weekend of February. This will be the perfect kick-off and warm up for the season!

Also moving forward, we plan to discontinue the downhill race, which was historically held on Sunday.

Hi all! We are so glad to welcome you to the 2026 Valdez Fat Bike Bash. If you have already gotten your tickets, or you're thinking about it, this info is for you!

1. Our weekend kicks off at 4pm on Friday at the Fat Mermaid! This is the best time to receive your race bib and welcome info. We will be at the Fat Mermaid until 7, and if you arrive there before 6, you can also join our Sunset Ride to Meals Hill & Growler Bay Brewing!

2. Late registration and check-in for the Saturday races starts on at 8:30am with a hard cutoff at 9:15. All racers must arrive and check in by 9:15 on Saturday morning. This allows our volunteers and staff plenty of time to ensure safety and ease for the race starts at 10am. If you cannot join us at the Fat Mermaid on Friday night, please plan to arrive closer to 8:30am on Saturday to receive your bib.

3. In addition to a race registration, all attendees must also have a General Registration ticket. The General Registration helps cover the food, socials, incidentals, and logistics required to put on our event. If you have not yet gotten your Race Registrations or General Registrations, you can do so at https://valdezadventurealliance.com/buy-tickets

4. We hope you'll join us Saturday night for our Zen Trembles concert and Silent Auction, where you can bid on some really killer goodies including vacation stays, rail tickets, glacier cruises, and even some Fat Bike swag. Feel free to share this info with family and friends.
