Vail Rec Pickleball is provided by the Vail Recreation District in Vail, Colo.

This year-round program takes place at Golden Peak Pickleball Center and Red Sandstone Elementary School (depending on the season).

Big news at Vail Pickleball: annual, summer and junior pickleball passes are NOW AVAILABLE for purchase!

Annual passes are only available to Vail residents. Summer passes are open to both residents and non-residents.

We have moved to a new registration system designed to make pass purchases easier. All users will need to create a new account - it only takes a few minutes!

Great news, Vail pickleball players! Annual, summer and junior pickleball passes go on sale Wednesday, May 27.

🏔️ Annual passes are available exclusively to Vail residents, while summer passes are open to both residents and non-residents.

We heard your feedback and have moved to a new registration system designed to make pass purchases and court reservations easier and more streamlined. All users will need to create a new account - the good news is it only takes a few minutes, and you can set yours up anytime before passes go live.

⏰ DAILY DROP-INS
• Morning: 8 a.m. to Noon
• Evening: 5 to 8 p.m.
• Rates: $10 VRD Residents | $15 Eagle County | $25 Public
• Rentals: $5 for Paddles

2026 PICKLEBALL SUMMER PROGRAMMING:
🏓 Early Bird Drills: Bring your drill partner and sharpen your skills, mechanics and technique!
• Starts June 15 | Monday-Friday | 8-9 a.m.
• Courts 4, 5, 6
• Free for passholders

🏓 D**k Divas: Ladies-only open play; all levels welcome! Challenge court available for advanced players.
• Wednesdays | 3-5 p.m.
• Free for passholders

🏓 D**k Dudes: Mens-only open play; all levels welcome! Challenge court available for advanced players.
• Mondays | 3-5 p.m.
• Free for passholders

🏓 Weekend Round Robins: Players will rotate courts throughout the session based on results - winners move up and losers move down—creating fun, competitive matchups with players of similar skill levels as the games progress.
• Saturdays | 1-3 p.m. Intermediate Play
• Sundays 1-3 p.m. Advanced Play
• Free for passholders

🏓 Live Ball Fri-YAYS: Live Ball Pickleball is a fast-paced, high-energy format featuring continuous play and rapid-fire rallies.

• Free for passholders

🏓 SPECIAL EVENT! 2-Day Camp With Callie Jo Smith: This is your chance to learn from one of the best in the game.

We love seeing your furry friends at the Golden Peak Pickleball Center! 🐶 But a few things to keep in mind before you bring your dogs to our courts:

• Leashed dogs are welcome and must be tethered to one of the trees in the upper grass area (above the bleachers).
• Dogs are not allowed within the facility walkways/sidewalks and are not allowed to be tied to the perimeter of the courts.
• If your tethered dog is barking while you are playing, please remove your dog so as not to disturb our players.

We're so excited to have you come out to the courts this season! But, before you do, a few things to note when it comes to Parking & Transportation:

• Parking will be available at the Golden Peak Pickleball Center starting Monday, April 20—there are only 8 designated, painted parking spots
• Please do not park on the grass, in the fire lane, or in any undesignated spot
• Parking is also available at the Vail Village Parking Structure (*Please note: Free spring parking in all town-owned structures and lots will be available from April 8–May 28)
• The (FREE!) in-town bus provides convenient drop-off at Golden Peak
• Under no circumstances is parking permitted in the neighboring lots of Golden Peak (for example, Texas Townhomes)—The Golden Peak Pickleball Center is not responsible if cars are ticketed or booted due to being parked in neighboring parking lots

We thank you for your cooperation in helping us ensure that the parking lot remains safe and our grass remains undamaged!
