Thank you to the club members who helped with the Urbandale National Night Out (Judy, Ly, Connie B., Jenn, Brittany and Doug). It was a rainy night, but there was good attendance by the public to the event.

Come check out the Optimist Clubs in Iowa at the Iowa State Fair. A booth is located in the Varied Industry building from Thursday, August 13th thru Sunday, August 23rd.

The Urbandale Optimist club helped the Children's Cancer Connection with their picnic on Sunday, August 2nd, 2026. It was an enjoyable experience for everyone. Thank you to Mark for taking pictures, Erin and Connie for working the registration table, and Ly for working the merchandise table. What a beautiful day it was to be outside!
Financial support was funded in part by the Polk County Supervisor Community Betterment Grant Program. Thank you to this group for helping the Urbandale Optimist club make a difference in the community.
