Optimist clubs are not just great for planning future events/activities for the community. They can also lead to great friendships. A couple of our members learned how to play Mahjong together. If you are looking for a place that not only helps the youth and the community, but also develops friendships; consider checking out an Optimist club.

Congratulations to all the hard working members of the Urbandale Optimist club and to the youth who have helped us throughout the year. Your contributions to serving the community and the club do not go unrecognized. Thank you for being a part of our group. (Note: not all members were present to receive their awards. Congratulations to all those members, as well as, the ones pictured.)
