Cathy Zimmerman Art Exhibition, Reception & Sale

Meet the Artist Reception & Opening Sale
Friday, October 23 | 6:00–8:00 PM
The Hill School's Sheila Johnson Performing Arts Center

A teacher’s influence can last a lifetime.

For Hunt Country artist Cathy Zimmerman, that journey began at The Hill School, where beloved art teacher Emily “Em” Sharpe helped spark her love of painting and nurture the talent that would become her life’s work.

This October, Cathy returns to campus for a special Art Exhibition & Sale, featuring her celebrated watercolors and a collection of original oil paintings making their public debut. It’s a rare opportunity to see and purchase these never-before-exhibited works!

The exhibit and sale run October 23-25, 2026.

Your participation is essential to accurately represent Virginia's horse industry. If you own a horse or manage an equestrian business in Virginia, your input is critical for policymakers and funders. Without your input, the industry's economic impact may be underestimated.
