Meet adoptable Horatio at the Petsmart on 4640 W Irving Park Rd, Chicago!

4 year old Horatio won the lottery when he was rescued from life on the streets and taken into his foster home. His foster mom brought him out of his shell and is teaching him how to live the good life of a much loved house cat.

Horatio quickly learned to appreciate a kind and loving human, and he always likes to be nearby. He’s happy to sit with you on the couch and occasionally might even climb into your lap. His manners are impeccable; he will never ask you to change the channel, but he will ask you to serve him a snack to munch on while he watches along. Fair enough, we all love TV snacks, right? His preference is for crunchy treats, and he also loves Churu tubes; he is still learning inside manners and hasn’t quite got the hang of just licking it as it comes out of the tube. His experience has been that you have to bite right down on the packaging to get to the good stuff inside. Regardless, he will always say thank you and offer up his head and cheek for gentle scritches.

Horatio is a beautiful cat and a wonderful companion. He has put his street days behind him and is ready to reciprocate the love of kind and gentle humans who offer him the life to which he is quickly becoming accustomed. 4 month old Water Lily is one of the sweetest kittens you’ll ever meet. The moment she sees her people, she comes running to greet them, purring nonstop. To say she’s people-obsessed is an understatement—this little girl would choose snuggles and attention over food every time!

When she’s not soaking up affection, Water Lily is busy being a kitten. She loves to chase wand toys, climb cat trees, run, jump, and wrestle with her sister. She is dog-friendly and would do well with a calm, respectful dog. She’s also wonderful with cats and children.

Water Lily should be adopted into a home with a young, playful cat. Better yet, adopt her with her sister, Lotus! The two can often be found chasing each other before curling up together for a cozy nap. They truly are the perfect pair.

Chamomile is a playful little sweetheart who loves chasing toys, running around, and turning every little thing into an adventure. 🐱💨 He's curious about the world around him and always ready to see what fun he can get himself into!

Meet 2 month old Rohan! The beacons are lit, the kittens are hungry, and someone needs to answer the call.

Named after the legendary kingdom of the horse-lords, Rohan is a tiny warrior with a mighty spirit, an adorable face, and absolutely no concept of personal property. Your furniture? His kingdom. Your shelves? His mountains. Your heart? Already conquered.

Rohan has spent his entire life being loved, doted on, and treated like the tiny royalty he clearly believes himself to be. He's never known anything but kindness, companionship, and a truly unreasonable amount of affection. His future kingdom will be expected to uphold these standards, naturally.

And if you're wondering how this tiny warrior feels about children, Rohan recently met an eight-year-old and was an absolute superstar. He was perfectly content being carried around, cuddled, and included in all the enthusiastic play that comes with having an eight-year-old friend. He took it all in stride! Meet Higgins—the handsome little purr machine who just might be your new best friend! 😻

5 month old Higgins is friendly, confident, and full of that fun kitten energy. He loves to play, pounce, chase toys, and explore, but he’s just as happy settling in for some love when playtime is over. He’s a wonderful combination of playful and cuddly—the kind of kitty who brings plenty of entertainment and plenty of affection.

Because Higgins is a young, social guy, he needs a home with another friendly, playful kitty who can be his companion. His foster sisters, Amy and Camila, are also available for adoption and would make wonderful potential buddies! Whether he heads home with one of his foster sisters or joins another playful young cat, Higgins will be happiest with a feline friend to chase, wrestle, snuggle, and grow up alongside. Meet Lalo – The Tiny-Meowed Lovebug Who Believes Every Lap Belongs to Him 💕🐾

If you sit down for even a second, there’s a very good chance Lalo will already be climbing into your lap. This sweet, affectionate boy has won several awards for snuggling. With his gentle nature, adorable meow, and endless love for cuddling, Lalo is the kind of cat who makes every day feel warmer and cozier just by being nearby.

7 year old Lalo would thrive in a home where he has lots of companionship and affection. He absolutely adores people and would love someone who is around often to shower him with attention and let him fulfill his life’s mission of being a full-time lap cat. He’s also very interested in other cats and would do well with a friendly feline companion for company. He loves chasing other kitties and just wants to get to know everyone.

This sweet boy can switch seamlessly from being the chillest cat around, to being a playful little lovebug. Meet Helm 🩷

Named after the legendary Helm's Deep, this handsome little fellow is slightly more laid-back than his brothers. And we do mean slightly. He's still a kitten, after all, and has a very important schedule of climbing, exploring, wrestling, and participating in battles that appear to have no clear objective.

2 month old Helm is also an exceptionally handsome little gentleman, with a gorgeous, richly colored tabby coat. His dark brown markings have an almost smoky, grayish quality that makes him stand out from the crowd. He's a striking little fellow, and he knows how to make an impression.

Having been raised in foster care since birth, Helm is wonderfully friendly, affectionate, and people-loving. He's spent his entire life being adored, doted on, and spoiled absolutely rotten by his foster humans. As far as Helm is concerned, this is simply the standard of living to which he is accustomed, and he sees absolutely no reason for that to change.

And while Helm's Deep may have been built to withstand a siege, this Helm has absolutely no defenses against a good cuddle.

Of course, even the most reasonable member of the fellowship needs a companion. Helm must be adopted with one of his brothers, Bree or Rohan, or into a home with another young, playful cat who can join him on his adventures.

Come meet adoptable Iggy at The Cat House on 344 E Irving Park Rd in Roselle, IL.

4 month old Iggy loves people and knows how to get whatever she wants from them. She purrs at even getting close to being pet, climbing up and right into your personal bubble. She's a bit more of a cuddler than her sisters, sometimes content to watch them play for a bit while she relaxes and soaks up human attention.

And when it comes to toys she's a very effective hunter. In one of her videos you'll see a small blue scratcher with a few blue toy mice dangling from it...and two of them are missing. Iggy maintains her innocense but we're pretty sure we know what's up. She works smarter, not harder.
She also knows she's still wee enough to fit under the dresser, and that's where her big sisters always lose their toys. And now they're all hers.
